The US Just Launched a Long-Outlawed Missile. Welcome to the Post-INF World

President Eisenhower just rolled over in his grave. While likely no one will use these, maybe instead of "INF" we get used to "MIC"? (Pronounced "mick". Military Industrial Complex) Alternative:

More and faster aircraft please. Ones no one else is allowed to buy, please. (Maybe we could keep mum about them, defense media?) Ones that easily fly through S400 please. If we don't like S400, then let's soundly beat S400.

I wouldn't call INFs 'real' strike capacity if using them (wasting my breath again) makes the first shooter a pariah. Shoot = lose. Why is THAT not the message? Try this:

"'The US is focusing on refining and developing technologies that reinforce and advance viable, sustained-strike capacity. One-offs with devastating effects have little actual tactical and operational value,' said one Pentagon official.'"

You see, I'd really, REALLY rather hear how Russia's choices are flawed and that we're doing something WAY smarter, instead. Maybe my suggestion of multi-technology strike capacity is flawed, but for God's sake, come up with SOMETHING that doesn't look exactly like what North Korea and Russia are doing -- makes us look like dolts. 'My INF/any-new-missile-thing is bigger, faster, sooner than your INF/any-new-missile-thing' is just copycat. Pshaw.
