About damn time. Why would you have a private company be responsible for federal prisoners? IMHO, all that does is make keeping people in prison longer more profitable for the company

Just my belief:
First step to releasing more prisoner into population. Government is run by civilians. They even handle ships when they come back from deployment so they can cut back on Navy personnel.
They are sending GITMO detainees to middle east to be handled by Government there.
