CW5 Jack Cardwell Nope, Before My Time. I'm Sure that I had a Newer Kevlar Version in the Armory while I was SAT Team but I May have worn it Twice, Maybe.

Steel Pot. Heavy, cumbersome, but USEFUL! Shaving, Bathing, Cooking, Soaking, Tent stake hammer, and also VERY useful as a weapon, you can beat the HELL out of somebody. Not too good at stopping bullets and shrapnel, but overall, grade A for the time period. 1974-1979.
