THE WAR PATH - Motivational Video (speech by Jocko Willink)

I needed to see this. I am heading into "full retirement" in March. I thought leaving the Army Reserve and the USAR Miltec Program was hard. Now I have made the decision to go, I fear most is the loss of a sense of purpose and mission that my current job gives me. Now, I have to stop think of repurpose and refocus. I still have a sense of service and a passion for this country (no matter how divided). But I am still searching for where to put my talents, treasures and gifts. I have things that interest me and belong to many worthy organizations like the Masons, VFW, American Legion, AUSA, ROA, NRA, my Church and the list goes on. If statistics are in my favor I have 15 to 25 more good years on this earth, the challenge is doing what?

How many of you (my followers and friends) have faced this challenging question? How did you come to your decisions? Or are you too still struggling? Is this something we all face at every life transition and do we often blow thru this period to take the easy way out?
