That does sound interesting. Thanks. It also reminds me of a story that I should write about an actual water diviner who sited wells in the neighborhood where I grew up. I'll have to get busy and write it. Thanks again.

It’s a great movie, Capt Daniel Goodman, and I think it’s one of Russell Crowe’s best efforts, although lesser known. Interestingly enough, Russell Crowe plays an Australian and he’s lived most of his life in Australia (New Zealand citizenship). However, his love interest is a Turkish woman, played by Olga Kurylenko, who is Ukrainian by birth. They don’t call ‘em actors for nothing!
It’s an extraordinary film.

I follow, what I found of especial interest was that the plot had a minimum of distracting needless elements, it was pared down from what I could see to the absolute bare minimum essentials, evidently, which I found helped considerably...and, as you'd likely also noticed, the acting was genuinely first rate as well....

Yeah, I found it quite well made, with a minimum of fluff, apparently loosely based on a true anecdote of a father from Australia who evidently really did go looking for his son or sons, though no specifics were known, apparently, other than that it seemed to have actually happened, from.what I'd read....
