While this series has the potential to be as big as Game of Thrones, I'm sceptical. It falls apart in later books. Still, I'll watch a first season to see.

I thought the series was great. There were times, certainly, that Jordan's writing put me to sleep due to slowness of story flow or just a little too much detail in some areas.

SN Greg Wright - Books 10-14 were good in some parts and not some parts. You can clearly tell the difference in writing after Jordan died and the other guy took over......I want to say around book 11. In book 14, you can just tell that the guy that took over just wanted to wrap the series up, as it was a rather fast read.
