Look at I was montys double about m.e. clifton james, his handler!during ww2 was the actor David Niven a sandhurst grad in the UK and SAS ww2 hero. Look at Green Beach the story of Jack nissenthall and the radar station raid at the mainly Canadian Dieppe landing before Normandy, and the other radar rad by another UK svc MBR before him. Look at code name Nimrod about the true story of why d day succeeded, and look as t the escape factory by Lloyd r shoemaker the true story of mis-x mis-y fort hunt VA and theuk mi9 in ww2 with the true story of the great escape not the Steve mcqueen version, and the filthy 13 the true story of the dirty dozen myth.

In reality, the body was that of a homeless Welsh laborer, and the letters were fakes designed to direct German attention away from the real Allied invasion target: Sicily.
