Here are five photos that perfectly capture the chaos of the fighting season in Ghazni province, Afghanistan.
In Afghanistan, warm weather means combat. The snow melts, the opium harvest is over, and part-time fighters and hardliners emerge from hiding to flood the country with violence. Referred to as “the fighting season,” it’s a time of year beginning in the spring and stretching into summer when violence reaches its peak with profits from the year’s opium harvest funding insurgency operations.

I thought that one of the pics would be of fighting man getting the last of the MREs being passed out. Wrong, again.

LCDR (Join to see) - No, I know that. I can't imagine fighting in snow. I would have liked to see all that money stay here and help the homeless civilians and veterans, along with what you wrote. I would liked for the 1.7 billion that went to Iran to have stayed here. That could have helped a lot of things here.

SGT (Join to see) - I still cannot believe there is not a larger outcry about the money that went to Iran, they are still developing nukes, step up AG harassment of our units and could have handled our Navy LT that went Joy riding better. It just blows my mind where we are going and that people still support HC.

LCDR (Join to see) - I think Obamalangadingdong, went around congress while they were on their two month vacation, while they still get paid BTW. It's almost like he's the "Ruler Of America", and what he says, goes, despite the backlash. I'll be so glad when he's gone for good. With his rhetoric about the African American issues, continues to build the hate fires going on right now. He doesn't say one encouraging word about stopping the riots and looting. I actually think he supports them, while more and more black on black murders are happening in his home town. I can't, for the life of me, understand why HRC has so many followers. Even with all of the lies, the poor performances, and the uncaring attitude, they like her. I don't get it. I'm worried as heck what's going to happen to our country, if she's elected.
