Unfortunately, it's not always easy to pick your preferred airline. Most of these airlines don't fly extensively in the United States.

According to the article they did not include the airline's fleet size, nor the hours flown. I wonder if they took these numbers into account how it would change the ratings.

I think that the sheer number of sorties flown increases thenumber of incidents which will probably skew the data some. BUT all of the ones listed I agree with...I have flown some of them and they are nice.
