Not too scary. I'm use to blood, guts, and gore in the stories I've read.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth - I'll bet she had a hard time when she grew up and the monthly flood happened.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth - I guess I can't understand how some blood will bother someone. I know there have been people who fainted at the sight of blood. I just don't understand why.

I just remembered this story. It's a true story about an experience I had one night.
I went through a weird thing one night when I was stationed at Fort Bragg. I was living off post, in a mobile home, with a buddy of mine I was in Vietnam with. He always told me his wife is a real witch. I always laughed at him. For several nights, I would hear someone walking down the hallway. In a mobile home you can hear every squeak and movement. I thought it was my buddy until he asked me if it was me. I don't know if it was him or not, but when he asked if it was me, he was in his bedroom and the steps continued.
They left town one weekend and I stayed by myself. I was almost asleep and my door opened. I got up and closed it. Again, it opened up. This time there was a small glowing light, like a lit cigarette, going round and round. I rubbed my eyes, thinking I was seeing something not there, but it was there. I threw a flowerpot at it and it disappeared. I didn't sleep the rest of the night. I told them about it when they got back, and they acted like it happened all the time. It was a hell of a feeling.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth - It really happened. It wasn't my imagination. Hell, I'd just gotten back from a war.

SGT (Join to see) - my wife had an experience like that a number of years ago while I was at Camp Grayling, she saw what looked like a little girl in our bedroom that was acting disturbed, she said that she told the little girl it was alright, turns out our next to the youngest niece was having nightmares, after my wife had told the little girl it was ok our niece quit having her nightmare.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth - Was your niece at your house? Or was this like a premonition?
When I was 10 or 11, I had nightmares about a car coming at me from behind and I would turn around, waving my arms. Right before the car got too close I would wake up screaming or crying. I had the nightmare several times, before me and two friends were walking home on a dark street, and I got hit from behind by a Chevy El Camino. I died twice in surgery, but I could recall the truck hitting me, while I was in surgery. Two nights after my dad died, I had a visit from him. My wife and I were in bed and I was almost asleep. The room got bright and when I opened my eyes, my dad was in the glow of the light. He told me he was ok, and he loved me, then it got dark again. I looked over at my wife, but she was sound asleep. I lay there wondering if I really just saw that. I wasn't grieving because my dad and I weren't that close, and that was only the second time he told me he loved me. Strange I know. But it happened.
