Thanks for sharing LTC (Join to see). As a member of the first USMA, West Point class which included women who trained with them, I saw first-hand how they alternately endured, suffered, persevered and learned their individual strengths and weaknesses like the rest of us.
A support structure is required for a woman to be part of a close-combat unit. It is not enough to be trained and physically fit to excel. Teamwork is critical. Leadership experience is critical. On the one hand if women come to a unit in groups of four or so they would have a better chance of surviving in the group - not in life or death but in productivity and sanity.
