This roast was nine years ago, the Sandra Bullock interview was eight years ago, why did they wait so long to address this? Leadership lessons push to resolve issues in the shortest time possible, why was this allowed to grow? Why do we still have beauty pageants, Hooters, Bond girls? The problem at hand is we as a society allow sexuality to be used as a tool. The same week Matt Lauer was fired we just had the swimsuit competition in the Miss Universe pageant. If society wants men to stop objectifying women, acceptable times to do this (such as the pageant) must go away. Men need to be hired as servers at Hooters and any other places that attract customers based on attractive females. We have a zero tolerance policy in the military towards sexism, time the civilians pick that up if they truly want some of these problems to go away. Personally, I believe this is a discussion for the ladies of the country to discuss and decide. If they want beauty pageants and other means to use their looks for advancement, they, NOT MEN, need to agree to accept what else may come. Not my place or decision to make.

I'm sure they did......but looked the other way because of his status. Just like now.....with the GOP looking the other way and holding their nose as they try to elect Moore in Alabama.....they know what kind of man he is, but they will vote for him anyway. Much like Trump........he showed us who he is, and he got elected anyway. How about Bill O'Reilly and Roger Ailes at Fox.......people knew for years, and kept their mouths shut. I'm sure many knew about Al Franken's exploits as well......yet he became a senator. Men have been dancing to this tune for a long time........and now the piper is demanding payment. The problem reaches into Hollywood and politics equally........and truth be told, it is prevalent in private business as well (you just don't see their cases in the headlines). The cleansing that is taking place is long over due. Moore may be the last one that actually gets away with it (if he does).

SSgt Gary Andrews - those accusations against Moore are 40 years old. Good grief. Only one involves some one under the age of consent and only two would be crimes if they occured today. The girl who was 14 has a lot of holes in her story. Moore only had two weeks to hook up. The women claimed Moore called her to arrange a pick. The girl had to walk a mile to the stated pick up point. Her father got custody because her mother could not control her behavior. The women says Moore used her phone to call. The women didn’t have a phone. . Gloria Alred won’t release the one women’s year book because the signature isn’t Moore’s. Never mind ... 40 years in a public life full of controversy and “all of a sudden”. Oh pure BS.

LTC David Brown - So you are saying they came forward now strictly for political purposes? The only problem with that argument is.......these are Alabama women, who vote Republican.......so why would they want to put themselves out there to be called liars and subject themselves to verbal assaults and accusations.....in order to defeat the Republican candidate? There are many things about the Roy Moore saga that don't make a lot of sense......but when he comes out and claims he doesn't even know who these women are......and when he answered Hannity that he doesn't remember dating teenage girls "generally".........but he always got the mother's permission first.....he hurt whatever credibility he had on this matter. Your comment that "only two" would be crimes, is telling. So if he only committed two sex related crimes, he's good to go? How many would he have to commit before it would be a problem?

Roy Moore has been controversial for over 20 years. Why now. Oh it was OK for him to be a judge as a pervert and hear our cases.. According to you yes. And Moore was the judge on cases some of these women brought. So Moore was fit to be a judge and Shazam every bodyruns forward and he did this and he did that? Really, and imagine it was just before the election. The interesting thing s Congress has paid $16 to $17 million to employees who have been abused. Washing Post can send reporters down to Alabama to dig up dirt on Moore but can’t head out the back door to investigate their own back yard! Please
