@PO3 James Deitz WE have freedom of and from religion. What scares me about people who talk about rights coming from god is that they TEND to want to push their faith on everyone. That I cannot stand. This guy is annoying. He is like Jim Kramer is with financial news. A lot of yelling, that just makes me hit the mute button and ignore what he is saying. As for Chuck Todd being an idiot, he is no different from any other media personality. You need a fine tuned bullshit meter to filter out the information of value from what is said. As for Facebook, anyone who gets their news information from Facebook, should be disenfranchised. That in itself is proof positive that they are not capable of casting an intelligent vote. Instead let them go in the voting booth and try to color within the lines.

I see your nervous of the people that talk about rights that some how they are pushing their faith onto others. If I may, are there calls to join Buddhists or Christians or else ? The yelling to me is entertaining. I think it is a different flare. Thought I do not watch Dice daily. Now that you mention it I tend to enjoy high energy interactions. As far as Facebook Dice was showing how Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook expressed. We hope to give all people a voice and create a platform for all ideas. Trump says Facebook is against him. Liberals say we helped Trump. Both sides are upset about ideas and content they don't like. That's what running a platform for all looks like. That is when Dice mentioned how his items were removed from Facebook and then showed news articles proving that Former Facebook Workers: We routinely suppressed conservative news. These new media outlets in some ways bring us back to the days prior to electricity. People talked face to face and print news did not move fast enough for a developing topic. This is where people learned who was creditable to listen to in the town square and who to not trust. With today's fast paced communication networks that huge amounts of people are on that update in tenth of seconds. The current traditional news media can not keep up. So in this light Facebook and other mediums are really putting people back into the town square having conversations and passing information on their own in real time around the world.

PO3 (Join to see) - Zuckerberg to me is no different than the whiny NFL players a rich douchebag who doesn't really care about what he is spewing as long as he is making money. I really find it ironic that there are people who talk about rights and freedom, but as soon as an opposing opinion is broached, they fly off the deep end. One of the things I like about RP is that in general we can debate opposing viewpoints without any losing of one's shit over it. You make an interesting point comparing social media to the cryers of antiquity. You are right I do get nervous of religious zealotry in any form. Too many people across time have died in the name of religion.

PO3 Steven Sherrill - I totally hear ya on the religious zealotry. I for one totally agree that we all need to stand up for ourselves and our beliefs. Yet the ISIS and etc types have got to be met with force. For that is all they know, force. We both agree that it would be so much nicer to sit down with a good meal with them and work out a reasonable deal and have peace in the world. Problem is they will never do that and they will only lie and kill at every chance. And again your correct, I really do love the great conversations with the Outstanding RP folks. Thanks Steven.
