TSgt Melissa Post I always thought that Bud, Coors, Michelob, Miller, Coca Cola, All the fast food places, and the auto manufacturers could save on their advertising. Back at their inception, getting their brand out was important. Now they are mostly iconic. So they could save by not making commercials. I fully agree, I am always ready to go for a beer, or shot, I don't need a commercial to remind me.

Nothing could make me drink any "Light" beer. Think about it. What would you do if you walked into a bar and asked for a beer, and the bartender added water to your beer. You'd punch him, right? Then why would you buy watered down beer? Silly, right? And I wouldn't drink any type of Coors. My exwife worked in the lab there. They were trying to filter out the [whatever it was] that was ruing the beer. Never did figure it out and they refused to pasteurize it like other brewers. (I'll let you in on a secret: It's the water)

CPT Jack Durish I always compare light/ultra light beer to just drinking water. I had been doing yard work all day, so my wife said she wanted to take me to dinner. I ordered a glass of water, guy at another table ordered bud light. I made the comment, oh I didn't know they had that kind of water here. She looked at me funny, and I pointed out that the waitress had just walked by with Bud Light. Got dirty looks from the guy drinking the butt light, and the waitress. I thought it was hilarious.
