Not surprising. The Mexican government has been corrupt and/or scared of the drug cartels, who really run the country. Juarez is entirely owned and operated by the drug cartels. There are recreation areas on the border where Americans are advised not to visit because of heavy drug cartel activity. The drug cartels are better armed, manned, paid, and equipped than a lot of nations' armies.

All paid for with US dollars from the failed war on drugs. When are we going to learn that prohibition doesn't work? All it does is fuel criminal gangs.

If people want to put poison in their bodies let American farmers with John Deere tractors be the one growing the poison.
