Im sure there will be other posts about this today but I think this one is a good read. I was 10 years old on this day in 1968. Cant say I paid much attention to it back then.

On this day Martin Luther King was assassinated in 1968 in one of the most troubling years in our recent history PO2 Mark Saffell I was only 11 at the time but I remember my parents shock and grief at the news. Later in that same year POTUS candidate Bobby Kennedy was assassinated.
