the "stabbed crab" (yeah, I know it's a desert scorpion) Not really needed just yet, fighting ISIS isn't a campaign, is it? But, since everybody ignored the veterans of the Vietnam conflict, better to have a medal handy rather than none at all.

That's just stupid SSG Ed Mikus and is not needed. We are still fighting terrorism, just a different breed. We went to Afghanistan to rid the world of a terrorist who brought down the Towers, slammed the Pentagon and crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. We are still waging this fight. Why is a new medal needed? How about one for the Cold War veterans who received nothing!
