It would be more accurate to compare apples to apples...Rangers are some fit individuals, but again compare SEALS to their equals

I was told that Scuba School was THE toughest school in the Army. The NCO I knew that had one went to Ranger School for a break.

SSG Michael Hartsfield - Only reason I know of these guys was a painted mural in the team shack when I was in the Stan. I asked what they were, and they were all the divers. Seems to be a lot more of them than we think. Amazing how much of the Army is there, yet no one knows they're actually there. Maybe one needs to write a book or go on a speaking engagement trail to complain about how good they have it so we know they were the one....

I heard that it such hard course that in every Special Forces Battalion within a group have a select diving company and its a pain to request for.

To be fair a few Navy Seals went through Ranger School and found it was a different beast from what they were expecting it's not RASP but they found respect for the Rangers.

This article is sort of garbage. You have a guy trying to compare a non-SOF school to a assessment, selection, and train up for a SOF unit. Ranger School does not equal SOF.

Agreed. Many people think a Ranger tab makes you SOF, when its the just the Regiment that has a SOF mission. Ranger School itself, is not a special operations school, though I still think its a good school and respect those who have gone through it.
