This Might be the Marines Ultimate Weapon: Osprey's Armed with Lots of Firepower

Jefe, I am of the opinion that is a great idea, give 'em some teeth. You dont have to make them an attack AC but it while doing an infil they are attacked they need to be able to defend themselves. Hey part of their deal was to get whomever to the LZ alive and ready to fight. If they all go down in a blaze of glory that is a no go. Dont reduce its ability to do what is was designed for by making it to heavy to fly but give it some stealth or teeth, hell I like both.

An aeronautical engineer once explained that he could make a bathtub fly given sufficient thrust. I suppose, by that reasoning that you could also make it a gunship with sufficient armament

And to think, Congress wanted to scrap the Osprey program!
