Personnel at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Virginia were recently treated to a training brief which included a slide that instructed airmen to "take a moment and understand" several examples of white privilege, which broadly refers to the social, economic, and political circumstances that frequently benefit white Americans over other citizens of different races and ethnicities.
One slide in the training material noted how the news media often portrays white people much more sympathetically than people of color, especially in stories that deal with crime.
Air Force officials confirmed the authenticity of the slide, which was first made public on the unofficial Air Force amn/nco/snco Facebook page.

To me this sounds like race baiting. I agree the news media needs to do a lot to clean itself up, not only in race issues, but everything. I do believe the media now has a lower approval rating than Congress! I don't know, maybe?

CPL Joy Downs Hart - Name calling and trolling are no ways to go through life, at least this applies to me. One of the great things about RP is everyone has a voice, and 99% are respectful. You appear to be part of the 1%. You offer no honest conversation on my post only name calling and an insinuation that something bad happened to you as a youth. My opinion is in this group: using your current tactics you will always be a day late and a dollar short.
I have no idea is you are real or not, all I can let you know is bad things have happened to many people, in my case I was about 6 or 7, I won’t bore you with the details other than to say seek help. In my case family was enough to pull me through, and it shaped my life in a positive way. As I said above respect is earned, but even before that, you have to respect yourself before you can respect anyone else.
