Thoughts on the NHL Expansion?
Before the start of the 2015-16 NHL Regular Season, it was announced that the only cities that submitted the required "deposit" and applications were Las Vegas and Quebec City.
Las Vegas currently does not have a professional sports team, and Quebec lost theirs when they became the Colorado Avalanche. The internet is buzzing again about this, the Quebec proposed to make news about the proposed franchise before game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Monday.

It's one step closer to legitimizing Las Vegas as a viable livable city instead of the tourist destination it is. Foley is pushing the "black knights" very hard and has even built and prepared the TMobile arena to host a hockey team down to the levels and lines viewers would see the rink. It's a perfect arena for a hockey team and down the road, possibly an NBA team. I would love to see a pro hockey team in Vegas. I would always root for my hometown Sharks but Vegas would be a fun season ticket to hold. Go Sharks!

I didn't care who won the Blues/Sharks series. I hoped either of those two teams got their first Cup. I'm a die-hard Avalanche fan, but go Sharks indeed.

The original Colorado hockey team was the Rockies, which moved from Kansas City, and are now the New Jersey Devils.
