President Trump made the right call in this announcement. Can you imagine all of the sham trials that would go on by people hostile to us? Much of the world dislikes us, and our competitors/enemies would have a hey day if they could get away with this. Personally, in war civilians always have and always will die so I am not bothered by it in the least. Let's not forget that more people died in each of the cities we dropped incendiary bombs during out island hopping campaign to end WWII. Let's also not forget about the European theatre where we destroyed more than half of all buildings in Germany. So, yeah, civilians die; too bad. War is ugly.
