American Indians in the United States have a higher poverty rate then the most poor of any ethnic group in the Intercity percentage wise. Natives and I got the right to vote until 1970 and there's still a lot of resentment in discrimination by people very similar to what happened to African Americans United States being stereotyped as this that and the other and not being trusted and being killed by white people.

You can probably empathize with the mechanic who happened to be Indian / native Canadian who was a mechanic for the equivalent of the Canadian Thunderbirds also known as the snowbirds and as soon as they found out he was native they started treating him crazily and physically abusing him. And the commander said to suck it up and deal with it it's okay. That's BS

I'm sure the US Air Force the only color they have there in the USAF is blue. It does not matter what ethnic group are all part of the same team and you all work together as a team to save lives

Thanks for sharing the not-very surprising news that liberal Canada may well be biased against minorities LTC (Join to see) This issue is probably not limited to the military."The former members have filed a proposed class action lawsuit against the military in Federal Court in Halifax. They claim they were subjected to verbal taunts, racial epithets and insults to family members – including one incident in which someone threw bananas at a black member’s spouse on the base in Esquimalt, B.C.
The suit, filed by Marc Frenette, Wallace Fowler and Jean-Pierre Robillard on Dec. 14, accuses superior officers of brushing off the behaviour by “silencing the wrongs” and urging some members not to file complaints.
“From top to bottom, the Canadian Forces has failed to protect racial minorities and aboriginal people from racism within the ranks,” the 31-page document states."

My Wife drove to California with kids via interstate 15 in 2011 and she felt similar cold shoulder from people at gas stations or restaurants when she was in Montana, Idaho and Utah. She felt great in California and Nevada.

When you were in SF back in the day, I hope that everyone was considered SF or Green and not like the Canadians did? I really can't understand a mechanic for the Canadian Snowbirds Team which is similar to the Thunderbirds or Blue Angels disrespected once they found out he was Canadian First Nations aka Native Canadian. You would think there would be no 'good ole boy' types in there?
