Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs and continued safe journey. Going with Ralph Waldo Emerson today: our first wealth is health. Doug Larson is a close second...maybe that's why turnip greens taste so much better when cooked with a slab of bacon. Cheers.

Emerson's Health is wealth should speak to many of us. When I first came in the military my senior leaders looked ancient. All were under 40. As my career progressed it was apparent that lifestyle had a lot to do with some people aging beyond their actual years. That and a pack a day of cigarettes, pots and pots of coffee- followed by beers in the evening with fried food, and working all the time has that effect. Take care of yourself and be good to others.
