The only problems with a "new Sykes-Picot Agreement" are that [1] no one bothered to consult the people of the Middle East before the last one was drawn up, and [2] there is no realistic prospect that the people/governments of the Middle East will agree to anything (except getting more for themselves and giving away that other countries have).
A "new Sykes-Picot Agreement" is like patching mud bricks with crazy glue.

COL Ted Mc A lot of people don't know what the Sykes-Picot Agreement is. For those that don't the "Sykes-Picot Agreement" the Asia Minor Agreement is a secret agreement by England, France, and Russia to divide up the Middle East into sectors of influence after defeating the Ottoman Empire at the end of WWI.
