The Cold War was still on Warsaw Pact vs. NATO mid-1980s and this song reminded me of the Cold War tension when I was in college and now we have that tension again in the Korean Peninsula. This song is nostalgic because it's actually funny it shows early hip-hop Punk and rap mix all in one talking about nuclear War. Sex Pistols versus Hip Hop LOL. This was not a top 40 song and Rick Dees or Casey Kasem would never play this but you heard this song played on alternative radio stations like kroq-fm in California.

LTC (Join to see), before Rick Dees moved to Los Angeles, he gained his fame Memphis. He had a morning radio show (6AM-10AM) called "Rick Dees and The Cast of Idiots". I moved there in November '77, and I listened to him every morning. He was hilarious! Many times I would stop at a traffic light, look across to the car beside me, and see the driver laughing. I always assumed they were listening to Dees, just like me!

I grew up with Rick Dees later after I move to Los Angeles but I remember him his first song I guess was Disco Duck in the mid-seventies.
