Makes sense. Given that drones can carry weapons/bombs or other harmful things, we need a way to counteract that. Shooting them down individually takes too long and we will potentially miss one or more of them

I'm seeing something like the fireworks mortar that goes up, explodes and instead everything taking of in a straight line from the initial explosion it all goes zigzagging away before the secondary pops. I wonder if they've tried one of those air-burst rounds in the middle of a swarm?
