To Fight The 1619 Project’s Lies, Take This Free U.S. History Class

America practiced slavery in its past. It is not defined by slavery as much as it is defined by its elimination of slavery. Slavery was practiced on this continent by the native population long before the white man arrived. The British and Spanish brought African slaves to America. It was they who owned the plantations and created the "peculiar institution". Furthermore, the Constitution did not create slavery or institutionalize it. Nor did it disenfranchise women. Indeed, the Constitution contains the instruments by which these cultural icons were broken. In truth, the 1619 Project is simply another attempt to destroy America by destroying its history, by destroying any pride Americans may have in their nation. And, sadly, it's working. It's being spread like bed bugs in schools across America, even here on RP.
