Some people don't seem to get it when we have to work together so closely.

Although I've had co-workers with all 10 annoying habits, 4, 6, and 10 are some of my pet peeves.
4--smell. I've seldom run into an office worker who smelled bad due to poor hygiene in the USA. The problem that really got to me was a female co-worker who wore WAY too much perfume. Her scent arrived in the office 15 seconds before she did and lingered for hours after she left. If she hung her coat on the same rack as mine, my wife would be asking questions as soon as I hit the door at home. I couldn't speak with her about the problem because of fear of being accused of sexual harassment or discrimination.
6 -- Sick at Work. Didn't see this often in government service, but did see it some in private employment. It was more prevalent after my private sector employer converted to "personal time off," PTO, from a traditional sick leave, regular leave, and holiday type program. People tried to save up PTO for a vacation or bigger buy-back when they should have been home sick.
10 -- Limp Hand Shake. This one bothers me only a little. I understand surgeons who hesitate to give firm hand shake. They are protecting their hands. But I've gotten the limp fish from all manner of people, but never from a Flag Officer.
