What's wrong with a 9 mm? A person I know is a huge 45 fanatic and always talking about stopping power, take down power and his son even claims he shot an insurgent 5 times with a 9 mm in Afghanistan and it didn't even slow him down. I'm not partial to any one caliber, used the 1911 , hated the Baretta but find a 9 mm is more accurate than any 45 because of the kick a 45 has, have taken numerous challenges from this 45 fanatic and always dominate with amount of rounds on target in the fastest time, as well as his son can't shoot for Crap so I highly doubt his claim. Most law enforcement agencies have also bounced back and forth but always come back to the 9mm for many different reasons. Me... I am a firm believer that what ever weapon you feel comfortable with and can use the best for your needs is what you should carry.
