An off limit question by the FBI during an investigation? Doesn't this show that these people really think they are above the law. Mills should have been locked up for that. Talk about an admission of guilt.

No it doesn't show she's above he law. No it isn't an admission of guilt. And no she shouldn't be punished for it. Read the original article from the Washington Post that is linked in the Fox News story, and you will see that it has a very different feel to it. And it starts out by saying that the Dept of Justice prosecutors were the ones who agreed that the topic asked by the FBI had been ruled confidential before the interview began, and the Prosecutors were taken aback that the FBI asked the inappropriate questions. .
As for the big "she walked out" headline, yes she did. And then she walked back in a short time later. And no, talking to your lawyer during an investigation is neither inappropriate nor an admission of guilt. It's why people have lawyers in the first place.

"Near the beginning of a recent interview, an FBI investigator broached a topic with longtime Hillary Clinton aide Cheryl Mills that her lawyer and the Justice Department had agreed would be off limits, according to several people familiar with the matter.
Mills and her lawyer left the room — though both returned a short time later — and prosecutors were somewhat taken aback that their FBI colleague had ventured beyond what was anticipated, the people said."

Us cops always asked just to see if we could get an answer. But had anyone gotten up and tried to walk out of the room, probably would have been tackled and handcuffed to the table after that. Asking to confer with ones lawyer is one thing. But getting up and walking out is totally different. During an investigation, the people in the interview room didn't really have much freedom of movement in and out of that room!

I'm convinced Hillary is guilty But from what I've read this woman was correct to not answer the question because she is an attorney and had she answered she would have violated attorney client privilege.

My biggest issue was the fact she walked out. I do believe she is hiding behind the attorney client privilege in order to protect her and HRC's butts
