Some of the people on the list definetally are sick and twisted.

Most those shown on the list earned the hate from just about everyone. There are some thought that although hated its only by certain factions and not everybody but even though supported even their supporters may not actually like them as people. Some of those are just misguided vs some other modern day characters here that actually are evil. I didn't say Who is which but some in modern times are very apparent esp some involved in the US Government. I'm NOT on the left so draw whatever conclusion You may. One there I can think of on this list has walked on both sides of the fence.
