Training jet from Vance Air Force Base crashes in western Oklahoma

A training jet from Vance Air Force Base crashed Friday afternoon in western Oklahoma, officials at the base confirmed. The T-38 Talon training jet crashed about 50 miles west of the base, which is located in Enid, said Tech Sgt. Erik Cardenas, a spokesman for the base. The pilot safely ejected before the crash, Cardenas said.
