BAGRAM, AFGANISTAN 2013
HE WILL TRULY BE MISSED, HE WAS HELPING ME TRAIN UP MY PSD(PERSONAL SECURITY DETAIL) AND WAS SUPPOSE TO GIVE A CLASS ON 29 JULY 2013. HE HAD UNDER 40 DAYS LEFT IN COUNTRY.
HE VOULUNTEERED FOR A CONVOY ESCORT MISSION WITH 359 ICTC COMPANY OUT OF FORT EUSTIS, VA.
SSG ERIC T. LAWSON 30, of Stockbridge, Ga.; assigned to 10th Transportation Battalion, 7th Sustainment Brigade, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va.; died July 27 in Ghazni province, Afghanistan, of wounds caused by an improvised explosive device and small-arms fire. Also killed was Army Spc. Caryn E. Nouv, 29, of Newport News, Va.
