I have not witnessed it where I am. I work on two separate bases and have been TDY several times this year as well as deploying. Eh...#fakenews from the Military Times?

Sgt Vance Bonds - political tension? We always had attitude and the sense that you could not do anything negative that did not lead to an EEO complaint. I have not experienced that in the Guard however- mostly AD.

Maj Marty Hogan The basic problems in the unit were dreadlocks, on other things having to do with back culture and any attempt to stop them from expressing it. Those attempts were called racist and accusstions were made that the African Americans were being held down. Held down because they were written up. This was in 2014. And much was also made about why there wasn't more African American leadership on the deployment. I take this as being politically motiv aas ted and not racial. Maybe I'm wr ok ng but even though EEO did engage i don't recall them making any EEO related determinations.

There is rising political tension everywhere else so why wouldn't it be in the military?
