In the long run here it’s the women who will get hurt. Men won’t hire them for fear of a “Me too” charge. They will never get one-on-one time with the boss because he will never be alone with a eiman without a chaperone/witness. That means no dinners with the boss. No going in a business with the boss........and on and on and on. Few chances mean more limited opportunity. And all f this will go unsaid in public but acknowledged by all. Why would a man take the kind risks in today’s confrontational environment.

You've hit this one square on the head. The 'trickle down' effects this is going to cause will effect the job market for years.

Just a few months ago, weren't people bashing Vice President Pence because he avoids the appearance of impropriety and does not have social engagements with women, without his wife or a female staffer along?

He was roasted for it. Now it seems like a smart and reasonable plan for almost every man. I am not rich, famous, or powerful, but today's climate has me thinking twice about my interactions with women. I have a coworker (male) that recently lost 70 pounds. I complimented him on his success and told him that he looks great. Now, I wouldn't do that to a woman.

Without due process, you have mob rule. Due process has to play out, and if they are found guilty, then hammer the living dog crap out of them publicly. But, when the mob rules, a lot of people are going to be caught up in issues they are innocent in, and in the end the true victims are the ones that are going to be hurt again when people get tired of the bs. After all, how many big cases of injustice have we heard the victims actually did it themselves. We had the story here on RP about the African American Air Force Academy cadet that had racist stuff written on his and other doors. After the investigation, turns out he did it himself. Due process is absolutely necessary, and is almost impossible to get it back once lost....

This is a good one linked in the above article too.

This MeToo thing reminds me of that Orville episode where the people wear badges and the crowd votes on everyone and everything via social media.
