"The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced its intention to terminate a parole program that intends to help Filipino World War II veterans and their families.
The parole program, which was announced by former President Barrack Obama in 2014, allows family members of Filipino WWII veterans who have approved I-130 family-based petitions to enter the country as they wait for their visas to become available."

How many Filipino WWII Veterans are still alive? Family typically means Husband, Wife and Children. Not Family Tree.

Of course it is... if the family hasn't been able to get citizenship in 50 years, then there are probably reasons.

I am curious how this made any effect when law as it is not something they ask at the US Consulate in Manila. My wife went through her entire visa to citizen under President Obama, she had family members that fought, and they never asked her while we were waiting on her paperwork.
