Ukraine? Was that where Biden greased the skids for his son and threatened to withdraw financial aid if they investigated his son ?

SPC Erich Guenther There are plenty of people in key positions within the Trump Admin and has zero experience for the job. It’s called nepotism. Nothing new in politics.

Well it looks like you have all the goods on Biden for a political attack ad so why violate federal law and ask a foreign government for assistance in opposition research? I mean his own FBI Director was clear on this.

MAJ James Woods - Quote the law verbatum please and point out where the law was broken because as I read the law the Democrats are extending the law to cover items of intangible value whereas the law is clear and only covers objects of tangible monetary value (like money or gold). Misread of the law as written. Though I would agree it is bad to involve any foreign power in any election issue. There are no laws on the books that cover calling a foreign leader and asking for background or rundown on someone. Complete nonsense to say it is against the law or an impeachable offense, etc and the Supreme Court would never support that interpretation of the current law. Complete bullshit from the Democrats......again.

MAJ James Woods - Also, did you know that Nadler sued Trump back when Nadler was a nobody and Trump was a real estate developer. Nadler lost his case and Trump ran circles around him. Rep Nadler is dumb as a rock when it comes to prosecuting the law and Trump doesn't fear the guy. Though I will say it is really incompentent of the Democrats to use him now given his past history and track record with Trump.

Ask and you receive below. Note sub para. 1.(A) where it clearly says “a contribution or donation of money or other thing of value...”.
Note the key phrase “other thing of value” that faces legal interpretation in a court of law or impeachment hearing. It doesn’t strictly imply monetary value. However, should the allegation that a member of government dangled taxpayer $ Congress approved to aid Ukraine against Russian incursion in order to coerce a foreign government leader to assist in digging up dirt to politically attack a political opponent(s) is true... Then that should be disconcerting to anyone that values our government. Or one can jump to the bullshit spin you’re feeding. But hey why not let the whistleblower and IG speak freely if it’s all bullshit and there’s no law broken. Screw it. It’s open season for US politicians to collude with foreign governments. No one gives a crap anymore.

Prohibition
It shall be unlawful for-
(1) a foreign national, directly or indirectly, to make-
(A) a contribution or donation of money or other thing of value, or to make an express or implied promise to make a contribution or donation, in connection with a Federal, State, or local election;
(B) a contribution or donation to a committee of a political party; or
(C) an expenditure, independent expenditure, or disbursement for an electioneering communication (within the meaning of section 30104(f)(3) of this title); or
(2) a person to solicit, accept, or receive a contribution or donation described in subparagraph (A) or (B) of paragraph (1) from a foreign national.

Rightfully so. If this is true, this is a violation of security by the whistleblower. That's not what this was intended for.
