Trump finds ObamaCare repeal leverage: Congress' insurance benefit

I have long said, make Congress live by the laws they pass for us. Make all government employees use the VA for medical services. If they had to live by the same rules they impose on us, we wouldn't see half the crap that comes out of that place. Oh, and while we're at it, make the Senate go back to how it was before 1913 & make Senators appointed by the States. That way, if they are not doing the bidding of the State, they could be recalled & someone else put in place. Congress used to be a part-time job. It needs to go back to being just that.

Regardless of Party affiliation this is good news. Our elected leaders ought to live my the rules we have allowed them to set for us. I think that they have forgotten this relationship and who their bosses actually are. If I were Mr. Trump I'd also bring up the fact and figures where these career Politicians send their kids to school and it is not at the local public school. Then I'd hit up that Congressman that said he couldn't live on 174K per year. Mr. Trump should have all these hacks over for a televised lunch and then call these men and women out for failing to find solutions that are best for we the People.

Nixon thought he could take on Congress. When a coequal branch of government holds the legal authority to fire you, it does take on a high risk.
