Sequestration was the result of the inability of the Dems and the GOP to agree on a budget. Now it is all in GOP hands and there is no reason not to get rid of sequestration permanently and to never agree to it again. Sequestration was a dirty trick by the Dems to force the military to take the hardest hit in trying to get spending under control.

Now that the GOP is in control we should be able to cut excess regulation and taxation which will increase economic activity and increase tax income to help bring income/spending under control without hollowing out our military.

Sgt Kelli Mays I've seen so much change in the US Army in my life, much for the worse IMO. It used to be (or Back in the day), the Exchange and the commissary were good deal for the soldier. So wages weren't that great, we could get food and basic items at a discounted rate.

MAYBE, with some military personnel on his staff Trump can make some positive changes for those serving.

Pence consistently talks about the VA and the military improvements they are going to make. It's not up to Speaker Ryan. He will be working for Trump.
