He hasn't been impeached yet. Legally, until the Articles of Impeachment are sent from the House to the Senate, POTUS has not been impeached. Democrats have been crying about how quick it has to be because he's a danger to democracy, but refuse to forward articles unless they get what they want...aka quid pro quo.

Brad Blakeman, who served as deputy assistant to President George W. Bush, reacted on Thursday to the House Speaker’s move to withholdthe articles of impeachmentagainst President Trump from the Senate saying, “Nancy Pelosi has no leverage over the Senate.”
