I do believe that "very stable genius" is an oxymoron. I've known a few with genius IQs in my time (indeed, I have tested between 51 and 151 - I love screwing with tests). However, "genius" doesn't interest me that much. Few really smart people have common sense which is a far more valuable commodity. What impresses me more about President Trump is his demonstrated ability to learn skills. His success in such diverse fields as real estate investment and entertainment is based on his ability to master the diverse skills required of each. I suspect that he will master the skills of governing if allowed to. (Oh, and for those who point to the bankruptcies associated with him should look more closely at the records to see if he was still engaged in those businesses when they went bankrupt) Oh, and one last thing. Our two smartest Presidents in my lifetime were Carter and Nixon, and neither top my list of favorites...

You can have genius level IQ and be stable. Stability depends more on personality traits.

It seems like the media is treating president Trump as if he's crazy Roman Emperor Caligula. I don't like all of his decisions but maybe his posturing against paranoid Rocket Man may actually work. What this President does or doesn't do will be written 30 years or more after his presidency is over. At least you can't call him an alcoholic like President Grant was.

We can update the reference to drunken presidents - take Nixon for example. Sandy :)

Thank you Sandy! That was so sad 1969 when they shot down that EC 121 In Cold Blood. I always thought of Richard Nixon as a peacemonger with Russia and China. I didn't know in a drunken stupor we almost went to Defcon 1. I remember reading that when those two captains were hacked to death in 1976, the Russians and the Chinese knew we had justification to strike back and they would have not done anything. The story came out on my birthday last year. Thank you for this link I sent it to some of my friends. I want to see Depeche Mode in concert and I only was able to see about 45 minutes of the show but I had good seats. Good memories with my wife.

The left is relentless. They bitched when a Republican Senator announced that he intended to try to make Obummer a "one term" president. Yet they don't think twice about calling for Trump's impeachment even BEFORE he was inaugurated. They have destroyed their own credibility.

SSgt Christopher Brose - Her liberal ethics allow her to breach rules and laws at will if they feel a morale imperative to do so. Look at most of the last administration. They bent, spindled and broke rules AND laws on the simplest fabricated justifications. Not worth the fight. They are acolytes of evil and are not interested in “a government of laws.”

SSgt Christopher Brose - Did I say that I agreed with the book? No, I said POTUS denials were evidence enough to settle mental illness concerns for me. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

1LT Sandy Annala - That's a lie. Your "mental illness concerns" were settled a year ago. Don't pretend you have been open minded until now.

Sandy, i used to have respect for your opinion as a medical professional but to see you compromise your ethics for your politics makes me extremely sad. You are a better person than this. I am sure you are capable of not letting your personal opinions cloud your medical judgement if you try.
