I don't see a revival of the peace process if we continue along our current path. A single state solution with full citizenship for all Palestinians would make a lot more sense, given the vast encroachments the Israelis have made onto Palestinians territory.

Palestinians born in Israel are non-Jewish citizens of Israel. They can participate in the political process if they choose. Not sure if the mandatory military service applies to non-Jewish citizens of Israel though. The Palestinian/Israeli peace talks are a racial divide based on past wrongs on both sides of the issue. When the Palestinians were relocated after WW2, they were a nomadic people living in a desert they did not have the knowledge or government structure to tame. When Israeli's were given the land which is now Israel, they tamed the land and the "desert bloomed" again. Now the Palestinians see this revived fertile land as a place where they once lived and covet it in its current state. I think it's not unlike a former owner of a dilapidated house whose new owners lovingly restored it to better than new condition and the former owner wanting the house given back to him simply because he once lived there.

PO2 Donald Walsh - Israel has long held control over all of Israel and the Palestinian territories. They are more like Indian reservations in the US than any sort of independent entity. What Israel should do is grant all those who want it, citizenship, and invite the rest to move to Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon or Syria once the war ends.

Hell I believe it when I see it and they have been talking about Moving the US Embassy in London (Building is Old) a whole lot longer and I see that it is still in the same place I left it
