Ok, this could just push me over the edge. Just what possible risks do these people pose to the US? Heck my best friend hosted a Vietnamese Army Major and his family after Saigon fell. They became citizens, had kids and their kids had kids, they are not criminals, but if someone accuses them of being a criminal when they entered the US who has any records to counter the accusation?

Do an internet search for administration looking to deport Vietnamese, lots more articles from many sources including Newsweek, National Review, Snopes, etc. Article from The Atlantic was just first I came across and if you feel happy calling them a leftist news rag, have at it and enjoy Fox News.

The intent of the headline was not to explain but to slant our perceptions of the actual facts.
That used to be called "Yellow Journalism."
I did read the whole article before posting my comment but know my limitations on what I am able to explain. However I agree with LT Brad McInnis - 's post.

This is the 3rd time that I have seen this here today and no one seems to have read past the headline. Before spooling up to Mach 1 (which is what the writers want), read the whole thing and realize what is actually going on. This is to deport the Vietnamese that are criminals and DHS already has cases against them (about 5000). Frankly, if I let you in my house, and you trash it, I will kick your a@@ out. This is the same thing...

SSgt GG-15 RET Jim Lint - Good on you Jim, if we're hot on getting rid of crooks, why don't we start in the White House? As for DHS, has anybody checked the number of abuse cases, some children. There's still 3-5 thousand children unaccounted for. Think about it.
