Everybody has personality quirks that run some or allot of people. People with egos are the hardest to take, but both men, McCain and Trump, had egos to varying degrees but both make good in their commitments to the people. I’ll always support the President and just happen to like Trump, ... McCain made no bones about not liking Trump for his lack of decorum and tact/diplomacy only on his terms regardless who he was speaking with or standing/sitting near. But at the same time, I’d have hoped McCain would have cleared the air with Trump personally about his POW status and ‘not liking guys who got caught’. Instead, McCain let it fester and in his final act before his death - restricted Trump from coming to his funeral and saying a few words. It was McCain’s final f@#k you to Trump ... which IMHO wasnt necessary. Trump is Trump. He can be rude, crass, inappropriate at times. We had a hero in WWII who rubbed people the wrong way but got the job done - and had quite an ego that Ike had to step in and stop occasionally - Gen. Geo. S. Patton. Personalities are as varying as fingerprints. We can’t force good manners on anyone, only hope they soften a bit for the position, peers, family, and visitors. Otherwise we have what we have.
