1SG Dennis Hicks - I would be best to help the American Citizens be more entrepreneurial. You make a good point.

Cpl Tom Surdi - Yep read the article, some of these were ones that start businesses here from their home countries and take the money. I would prefer our tax money go those here, rather than take care of non citizens, fairly simple concept. Read the comments section in the article I read, they seem to have a good idea of whats going on.

1SG Dennis Hicks - There is no reason why we cannot do both. However, in this particular article, the business is already up and running before they were denied extensions on their work visas. When the extensions were denied 2 of the 3 partners were removed from the country and it makes running that business incredibly difficult and expensive. It wouldn't cost the taxpayers a dime to give them a work visa and let them back in the country. They were here legally, followed all the rules and started a business and left when they were denied extensions. I could understand kicking out an illegal immigrant who started a business, but these guys followed ALL the rules and are making something of themselves. It's immigrants like these that strengthen our country, and it's what made our country into the powerhouse it is now.
Einstein was an immigrant, could you imagine what our country would be like now if we had kicked him out.
Brin, co founder of google is a Russian immigrant.
Madeleine Albright, a Czech immigrant, became the first female Sec of State, and is recognized as being one of the best.
Simply denying a person who has proven to be a productive member of society based solely on the fact they are an immigrant is short sighted at best.

OK I will say this clearly, I have zero issues with the POTUS cutting the program, I want US tax dollars used for US citizens, If you or anyone else wants to sponsor a foreign entrepreneur then have at it with your money, I want the US to stop sending our tax money to a great deal of countries and programs and take care of things in the US first.
