Capt Dwayne Conyers As it should be - NK needs to know that if they kill anyone with one of those missiles or hits an ally that we will bomb them back to before the "stone age".

Oh, "Trump" responded?
Wow. Which aircraft was he flying?
I'm pretty sure USFK, USPACOM, and USSTRATCOM executed deterrence measures planned long before #45 was in office

I don't even know if CDRUSSTRATCOM has to go to POTUS for BAAD missions. It's (Deterrence is) in our assigned mission in the Unified Command Plan. Maybe they brief the SECDEF.

Hopefully there is a way we can get North Korea to the negotiating table it seems like this regime is very serious about instigating a war to what end I don't know.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - well I wouldn't say war like but provocative yes with the uncharacteristic launch of ICBM way more frequently then any of Kim Jong Un predecessors coupled with the direct threats to the United States is say it's provocative to be diplomatic.

I don't know how far back your definition of "recently" goes, but DPRK has sunk ROK ships, shelled the ROK's islands ... and they pull this crap every few years

MAJ (Join to see) - I'll admit sir I did not know about those incidents. I'm going by intelligence confirmed by the media and I do know quite a bit of these incidents are not being reported because of the sensitivity of the area. I know that midget subs from the DPRK have been conducting recon on South Korean ports because a few of those sailors chose that moment to deffect putting a spot light on that. My brother is stationed there and I find myself trying to pay closer attention to the many issues going on in country.

Yeah, and now that I do my research it looks like the last major flare up may have been 2010. I could have sworn some artillery rounds were exchanged in 2013-2014. Hm.
