Blah, blah, blah. How many trips did Obama take to Hawaii? Multiple and we paid for everything including hotels, meals and Secret Service protection. You have a bias and I have seen it each time you post about this subject. Get something substantive and relevant or change subjects please.

LTC Eugene Chu - Your issue is biased. Obama has made millions and all you need do is look at the associated mansion he recently purchased. You can take a mere cursory examination of the Clinton Foundation and its ill-gotten profits and see how illegal actions accord recent democratic presidents methods to garner fortunes. If you are choosing to ignore these indiscretions and law violations due to bias then go ahead and walk that path. However; ignorance is not bliss and certainly does nothing to remove the facts.

Agreed; Obama enjoyed his working leisure trips to Hawaii and Bush Jr. enjoyed his trips at Government expense to Texas, with Bush Sr. finding Martha's Vineyard most appropriate for his style. However, during Clinton's time we saw "Travel Gate"; why?

Interesting indeed. Mar-a-Largo is officially the POTUS' second West Wing, just as Camp David has been the alternate Oval Office for previous presidents. Playing golf at his own properties and entertaining world leaders at his extremely high end spaces costs the American taxpayers a very hefty price. Hence, not taking salary is simply eyewash intended intentionally to hoodwink the public.
