Slightly off on the fascism begins..the first sign fascism is moving in is the taking of firearms from the population..hence, what you have here is a bunch of people acting like spoiled 2 year olds. There is no problem "peacefully" protesting, but HRC and anti Trump fanatics want their 5 minutes of fame..so yes, protests need to be monitored to ensure they continue to remain peaceful..

SSG Jessica Bautista You challenged me to find one holocaust survivor that supported Trump. I did. I have read two of the three articles you posted. I don't need to read anymore of the Hitler comparisons. It is a lame attempt to demonize a person they politically disagree with. It is the oldest play in the book.

The left did it to GW Bush, GHW Bush, Reagan as well as those in the house and senate. It is as tired an attack that exists. It is for the intellectually lazy such as yourself. You think it sounds profound to say it, it is not, it is a pathetic grope.

You have not put up a single cogent point so I will leave you here on this thread to stew in your inability to articulate a case comparing stated policies of Trump to Hitler.

"All of it began the first time some of you who know better, and are old enough to know better, let young people think that they have the right to choose the laws they would obey as long as they were doing it in the name of social protest” -Reaganism
The guy is a cop that sides with the law enforcement resources that are involved with these "protests"-it affects the public. Unchecked could lead to a worse situation so advocating doing his job is offensive to you. Just a cynical liberal aren't you?

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - you reference figurative speech so your argument is invalid. I doubt you are truly concerned about violence though.

These are not the spontaneous protests and groundswelling of anti-trump activisim that you are being led to belive! They are being planned and ran by professional, paid agitators. Did you see this article and video showing the DOZENS of BUSES which were used to bring in the "Spontaneous Protesters" to Chicago? http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-11-13/blocks-anti-trump-protest-buses-caught-tape

This is nothing new, remember the Black Lives Matter protests in North Carolina. They did the same thing i.e. busing in outside agitators to create a news story favorable to their position/social movement. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-09-22/who-behind-riots-charlotte-police-says-70-arrested-protesters-had-out-state-ids

MSgt James Mullis - that's a silly argument. My ID is from Texas, yet I do not live in Texas. And even so, if people across the country want to gather in one area, why shouldn't they?

SSG Jessica Bautista - Of course people can travel to support a cause or rally behind something they believe in. However, in the case of these protests/riots the press is claiming that they are a natural up-swelling of public angst in the various communities they have occurred in. This is clearly not true. They were well planned in advance, funded by advocacy groups, and created for a specific purpose. Clearly the press is not telling the whole story here because it does not fit within the "Narrative" they and the advocacy groups want to tell. My main point was that when you have to bus folks in to "artificially" create the appearance of support for a cause in a particular community, it means the cause is doomed to fail in that community, especially when it results in damage to property, injury, and in one case even death.
