AH ha ha ha ha.
So the "Value of the tax credits fell" let this accountant translate that for you. Because housing developers got a tax credit they can't take as big of a tax credit....
How stupid do you have to be to accept crap like that. It's the equivalent to saying I can't use my mortgage tax credit because I don't pay any tax already so I should complain...
This is a classic case of being so opposed to an idea that you find fault in your success.
Simply put the tax credit supports more development because taxes are lowered alltogether.

MAJ (Join to see) Exactly! These developers do not build these to help the poor or out of the goodness of their hearts. They build these because of the ridiculously HUGE tax breaks they receive. a lot of folks cheat the system also....

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel this is not true...and mostly affects inner city areas, however....these developers were only building these because they ripped the government off with being able to write off a WHOLE lot of stuff and is the only reason they took up building these. A bill is being introduced to give more tax credit back to these folks...but they are not building these out of the goodness of their hearts.
